Xi'an is a traditional city located in Shaanxi Province. Xi'an has a rich and culturally significant history. Over a period of more than 2000 years, Xi'an was the capital for thirteen dynasties. Along with Rome and Constantinople, this city was a world leader in culture and trade and played a vital role in bridging the gap between east and west. There are many famous places to visit. The most famous site is the Terracotta Army, built to protect the Emperor Qin Shi Huang, whose Mausoleum lies close the warriors.

Offers

At Maple we provide our teachers a comfortable working enviornment. Usually we support our teachers with their own teacher assistants. Those TAs are also dedicated and willing to offer our foreign teachers any extra help. Holidays are strictly implemented according to the government laws.

SALARY & COMPENSATION

SALARY 6500 RMB - Approx. $950 Canadian per month.
ACCOMODATION Maple can provide accomodations for visiting teachers in two ways:
  1. You can find an apartment on your own. Maple will reimburse you 800 RMB each month payable towards that rent.

  2. Maple arranges and provides living accomodations for you.
    • You pay for water, gas and electricity.
    • You also pay any monthly rental assessment charges.
    • Your apartment will include A/C, a washing machine, sheets, desk, table, sofa, clothes rack, pots, pans, refrigerator, microwave, and if necessary, a hot plate.
AIRFARE Maple will gladly cover the round-trip travel costs between your hometown and Shaanxi Province where Maple is located. This reimbursement will be paid accordingly at the end of your contract, upon presentation of receipts.

The Maple International Language Institute is committed to providing quality education to its students.We are looking to add new teachers to our staff who are hard working, punctual and positive. At Maple we teach children of all ages and we have some adult classes. Standard working week is 24 academic hours a week.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

LOCATION Teachers must reside in and have citizenship in America, Canada, or the UK.
AVAILABILITY All teaching contracts are signed for a period of 12 months.
EXPERIENCE Maple is seeking professionals who have at least 1 year of teaching experience.
EDUCATION Students with an education background of a bachelors or above.
